ASER Director Oleg Ilyin and Leading Analyst Vladislav Kapota gave a detailed interview to the Kapital.kz news agency on the development of the commercial real estate market in 2023 in Kazakhstan.

The issue of relocation of Russians to Kazakhstan was also mentioned, namely, what impact can relocation have on the real estate market? “According to our calculations, in 2023 relocated citizens of the Russian Federation will be able to directly or indirectly provide 5-7% of the total demand for goods, works and services within the country. Therefore, even despite the decrease in the number of Russians who are now forced to stay in Kazakhstan, we expect that demand for all price categories of the commercial real estate market will continue to grow,” Vladislav Kapota commented on the situation.
