The Capital Day 2022 business conference, held on February 18, for the 7th year in a row, becomes an occasion for a meeting of all those interested in investments and finance.
The event became a platform for discussing sources of business financing in Belarus in general and, in particular, bank lending, trends in M&A transactions, development trends in the commercial real estate market, features of investing in corporate bonds, and global financial market instruments.
One of the speakers was ASER Managing Partner Oleg Ilyin with an overview of business financing tools in Belarus. Oleg summarized a number of macroeconomic indicators of Belarus at the end of 2021 and spoke in detail about the financing instruments available for various businesses (lending, government funding, international financial institutions, venture capital, attracting a strategic investor, tokens, bonds), the conditions for obtaining them, key market players.
An equally topical issue was the subject of a panel discussion, during which Maxim Dodolev, Managing Partner of ASER Capital, and colleagues from Capital Times, Zubr Capital, SwanLake Capital, Sorainen and REVERA discussed the defining events of the M&A market in 2021 and exchanged forecasts for 2022.
