Gyorgy Ovari

Georgy Ovari is an associate consultant at ASER and has vast international management experience in various positions in the retail, wholesale and manufacturing of FMCG products. Gyorgy has been a member of the pool of international consultants of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) for over 7 years and has been involved in the implementation of significant consulting projects in Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Bulgaria, Hungary and other countries. In Belarus, Georgy was a lead consultant on projects to develop and improve the efficiency of Trade House Raduga-Svet LLC and NIKA OJSC retail chains.

Prior to moving into management consulting, Georgy Owari was a top manager of the largest distributor of food products Z + D FOOD Distribution, Metro Cash and Carry and TESCO retail chains in Hungary, as well as 7YA supermarket chain in Kazakhstan.

Gyorgy Owari’s expertise is in the development and implementation of strategies for building and developing retail chains, the creation and implementation of the company’s retail policy, effective sales management, category management, etc.

Gyorgy is a graduate of University of Miskolc (Hungary) and possess MBA University of Manchester (Great Brtain).
